New phone!

After six years I have finally got a new phone in time for uni!

But it’s really sad cos I loved my old crappy phone, it did the job, you know! But I’ll use both cos I get very sentimental and never throw anything away :)

And what was the first thing I did when I got it?

The Twins

Ok, I’m going to write down the epic tale of when I met the twins for the first time.

So they were doing a signing in Coventry 28th July 2010 :P

My mum agreed to drive my brother and I for two hours from Reading to Coventry just to meet them! It was such a road trip, I loved it!! On the way there, we listened to their album three times, so much so that I think even my brother knows what songs are on there now! He gets annoyed at my obsession for them, so when he agreed to come, I was shocked!!

Anyway, so we eventually get to Tesco Extra, and see all the security people outside with a truck with the metal barriers on. We went in and there was about 50people sitting on the floor where the trolleys are kept, so we joined them. Basically, we waited for three hours there, when a woman from Tesco came round with Jedheads, which me and my brother got!! I love them!! Then we were let through to the “back to school” aisle, where Jedward would be signing copies of their album. We waited there for a further hour listening to Planet Jedward which was playing over the speakers! My brother was like rocking up and down and he was like “get me out of here, why did I come?” so funny!!!

Then the boys came out, and everyone went wild. They said something like “we’re here going back to school with the fans!!” it was cute! Then, they posed for pictures for the Coventry Telegraph, you can see my brother in the background of one, but you can’t see me because John’s hair is covering my face!! but you can see my camera ha!! I was a bit gutted cos they took pictures of the girl in front of me, and the girls behind me, but not me! :( to be fair, it’s probably cos my mum and brother really looked like they were hating every minute!!

Anyway, 2:41pm, and it was our turn to meet them, and it was amazing! We had so much stuff, and they signed all of it!! Basically, I hugged John, then had a picture with him, then moved to Edward, who called me “Alison Wonderland” ^_^ which I love so much!!!!!! Then he said “oh quick, pose for the picture,…. with the shoe!!” cos I brought along my winged high tops!! It was so funny, the security guard was like “ok, we have to move along now. Edward, give her the shoe. EDWARD!!!” cos Edward said he needed a new pair and he loved them!! I think he wanted to take mine!! :P

John said to my brother “oh what’s on your t-shirt? the prodigy!! oh, we stayed in the same hotel as them once. were you there?” which was funny!! :)

Yeah, so they signed the booklet in the CD, the slipcase, one of the jedheads for a little girl in my mum’s class at school, my brother’s shoe, and my shoe!! which they both signed TWICE and edward wrote my name and a cute little heart!

It was amazing, I did not expect them to sign so much stuff AND take pictures, too!! They were so nice, and I was actually really impressed with the security guards who were really professional and not too pushy or anything!! So, thanks so much to all of them!!!!

Then, we were leaving and Edward turns and shouts “bye Alison!!” with a cute little smile!! Bless him!! Then, we went off and bought some pictures which Tesco had taken.

Phew, yeah, so basically that was that!! It was an amazing day!! We drove two hours there, two hours back, and four hours waiting in the queue!! But I would do it all again because it was so much fun! And even my brother in the car was like “they signed my shoe!!” which made me smile!! And, my mum said “they’re actually really nice, I didn’t expect that!” so finally I’ve managed to convert my family!!! YAYYY!! ^_^

SO, here’s just one picture from the day. I hope there’s many more days like it to come, because John and Edward Grimes are amazing and I love them very much!

Wow

It has been ages since I’ve been on here!! I’m useless, I’m sorry :P

So much has happened. So I get my A levels all done and dusted, and I’m off to uni woohoo!!

Then I lose absolutely everything.. all my pictures and videos I’ve had for the last four years have been wiped because I was stupid enough to click “yes” rather than “no” on some back-up thing. My own fault because I didn’t read it, if I had read it, I wouldn’t be sitting here now, all empty like. But that was about a week ago, and luckily I’ve still got a few things left on my camera, so I’m going to print them off and keep them close to me!! Life sucks sometimes.

Anyway, a good thing happened the day after that.. Jonathan Ross started following me on Twitter!!! :) You would not believe how much I love him, so it meant the world.

Then Jedward tweeted me about a dance I did in a restaurant to promote them! So that made me feel good, too!

This reminds me of what Mr H. was talking about in French Literature when we were studying Viou by Henri Troyat! The very good and the very bad always come together, you can’t have one without the other, and I guess he was right!

But anyway, I’m off to watch Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone ^_^
